Travel Nursing Jobs Abroad

The local version of the Travel Nursing here in the Philippines is the NARS Program or the Nurses Assigned To Rural Services for Filipinos.

Most Nursing Students who graduated and acquired their license as a nurse would immediately want to work as a nurse on hospitals ditching the fact that even hospitals are having a hard time accommodating every new Nurse that has acquired their license already.

But due to the tremendous amount and oversupply of nurses, the number of hospitals are not that enough to support the new nurses coming out year after year.

But still many are still aiming for Hospital Jobs since the experience gained in such field are needed to be able to apply for the next nursing job that they would pursue after the training program.

Not a lot of new nurses have been aiming to work as a nurse outside the hospital, but because of lack of nurses the sudden boom of demand of nurses outside hospitals have spiked already and the number of nurses wanting to pursue the field of travel nursing career have been rampant because of the easy income and more fun that they are going to experience when becoming a nurse outside the hospital.

Sure there have been many offers for hospitals abroad most are the public ones but still, the demand for nurses traveling from place to place are still the once to look out for.

A reminder though that travel nursing are not available not just in the US but also in Asia. Here in the Philippines the travel nursing jobs are what Filipinos call the Nurse to the barrios or the Community Nurses wherein they would be assigned to a rural area that the Healthcare Services are having a hard time penetrating in.

The Philippine government are calling this as the NARS program or the Nurses assigned to Rural Services, and the latest nurses are already eligible for this program wherein 10000 nurses would be given the chance to become a Nurse that would be sent to the barrios and rural areas.

This experience would also serve as an experience for the Pinoy nurses though not as good as the kind of income that travel nurses abroad could generate, it is still a chance for the Filipino nurses to gain experience which they can use once they would apply for a Job Abroad.

Even though the income is not as high, no one complains since looking for a job in the Philippines is liking looking for needle in a mountain of haystack.

Yeah it is so much impossible to get a Nursing Job specially in the Hospitals nowadays because of the oversupply of nurses. Even if you managed to pass the local board exam, you would still be having a hard time to grab a job for registered nurses, what more for mere graduate nurses.

So that was already a tip, Hospitals are already full and stopped job hiring for nurses, so the next target that a nurse should pursue is Travel Nursing.
